For use in rotating headstocks and tailstocks. The center pins with a tungsten carbide-based coating are characterized by a high coefficient of friction and good wear resistance.

• Run-out deviation on the workpiece max.: 0.008 mm.
• With cylindrical set down and extended length for better tool clearance.
• Made of fully hardened tool-steel.
• 60° tip carbide coated Rz = 15 µm +/-2.
• Thickness of the coating approx. 20 µm.
• Hardness 80 – 85 HRC.
• Max. load of the dead centers upon request.
• Special design upon request.
• Extracting nuts DIN 807, see page 173 in our main catalogue.
• All types with extracting thread to prevent spindle ball bearings or solid spindle sleeves from damage.
• The coating can be renewed in the event of wear.
